The Jacob Kongsbak Lassen is one of Denmark's oldest companies operating in the fishing industry. Founded in 1883, the company has always been family run and nowadays it is owned by the third, fourth and fifth generation of the family. Kongsbak Jacob Lassen, official supplier to the Danish royal house, specializes in the supply of high-quality fresh and frozen fish and seafood. Moreover, it has its own smokehouse in Malmö, where they produce local specialties such as salmon, mackerels, herrings and different types of smoked mackerel fillets. Beside the royal house, the company now has a steady clientele made of fish shops, hotels, restaurants and cafeterias.
